After the beach, there’s nothing better than an ice-cold beer. Thanks to these incredible local Jacksonville Beach breweries, a refreshing drink is just a hop (or hops) away.

Jacksonville is home to dozens of amazing local breweries, and quite a few of them call the Jax Beach area home. From intimate bars to trivia-friendly watering holes, there’s something for every type of beer fan at the beach.

I’ve tried them all and I’m sharing all of the hoppy details in this guide! Five of these breweries are part of the Jax Ale Trail, a program designed by Visit Jacksonville to celebrate local breweries in Jacksonville. The others are new to the scene but certainly worth the visit!

Crack open a can of your favorite beer (I prefer IPAs) or hard seltzer and take a sip. We’re about to explore everything the Jacksonville Beach breweries have to offer.

Though it didn’t originate in Jacksonville, it’s included on this list because it offers its own brewing creations right near the water. It has a robust menu with natural juice flights and unique alcohol options, making it a great option for groups who have a mix of alcohol and non-alcohol drinkers.
